Crochet Hangers Part ll

So i went into my closet to see what kind of hangers i had to work with, unfortunately all I had that would work were wire hangers.  So these are two of my first crochet wire hangers.

The yarn I used was just playing old acrylic yarn like many people used on the vintage ones.  Basically all I did was crochet a chain long enough to cover the hanger and then i did single stitch and then double stitch two more times along the length of the chain, then i pinched the finished chain around the hanger and crochet the seam up.  I have no idea if this is how people do it but it was quick easy and fun and i know they arent amazing but I think they are ok for my first try.  Let me know your process if you feel like it, otherwise i will show you my progress when i get a few more done.  Thanks!
